The Business Analyst, Information System Specialist is responsible for defining, designing, and optimizing business processes. This role involves configuring tools, creating user journeys, and establishing touchpoints with automated Operations & Maintenance (O&M) and reporting tools.
Based in Riyadh, KSA (full time) with some travel within KSA
Key responsibilities
- Business Process Definition and Optimization. Analyze and document current business processes. Identify areas for improvement and optimization. Design and implement new business processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Tool Configuration. Configure and customize tools to meet business requirements. Ensure tools are integrated seamlessly with existing systems.
- User Journeys and Touchpoints. Develop and document user journeys to ensure a smooth user experience. Identify and establish touchpoints with automated O&M and other reporting tools.
- Collaboration and Communication. Work closely with stakeholders to understand their needs and requirements. Act as a liaison between business units, technology teams, and support teams. Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.
- Testing and Validation. Conduct tests to ensure the reliability, accuracy, and functionality of system changes and enhancements. Validate that new processes and tools meet business requirements.
- Reporting and Documentation. Create and present reports to executive team members and stakeholders. Document all processes, configurations, and user journeys.
Qualifications and experience
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Experience in business process analysis, design, and optimization is a must.
- Experience of eTOM, TAM or ITIL
- Strong knowledge of tool configuration and customization.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Skills
- Arabic native speaker + fluent in written & spoken English.
- Experience with automated O&M and reporting tools.
- Knowledge of industry trends and best practices.
- Certification in Business Analysis or related fields is a plus.
