Celebrating Consulting Excellence Recognition

Winning the recent “AWS Rising Star – Consulting Partner of the Year – MENA” marks a monumental milestone in our journey at Bexprt. Over the last 2 years in the relationship with AWS, we’ve achieved a lot that seemed impossible at the start – we can’t be prouder of this AWS recognition.
There’s no better time to reflect on what we have achieved, and as an AWS Partner, review what we do to stay ahead of customer needs in this fast moving sector. 

Customer Focus 

To be an AWS Partner you must stay customer obsessed working backwards from customer requirements. 

  • We have achieved 5x targeted customer consumption, underscoring delivery excellence. 

We have consistently received positive customer feedback, reinforcing our focus on quality and outcomes. 

AWS Partnership Growth 

As an AWS Partner, our fuel is Programs and Competencies we have been acquiring: 

  • We initially achieved AWS Advanced Partner status – a feat which usually takes 2+ years – in just six months, reflecting our rapid progression and technical depth. We kept adding SDPs (Service Delivery Programs), Well Architected and Migration related achievements. 
  • We have deepened and strengthened our special focus on AI and Resilience aligning with industry-leading growth. 
  • We are officially among the “early achievers” of the prestigious AWS Resilience Competency. 

Technical Excellence 

We maintained an average of 3x AWS certifications per Engineer, with overachievement in Pro and Speciality certifications; underscoring our team’s dedication to investing in their personal growth and staying ahead. 

Thanks to our strong relationship with AWS, our team were given early access to Amazon Bedrock functionalities, driving the next wave of innovation in AI, and implementing into our own solutions. 

We actively participated in regional AWS CTO round tables, Partner and customer special events, shaping the use of AWS technologies in emerging markets.  

Solution Innovation 

  • We successfully built 2x groundbreaking solutions addressing AI and Resilience challenges, in close collaboration with customers: Bextract™ & Bex-DR™. 
  • We achieved AWS “Qualified Software” status and published both of these Bexprt solutions on AWS Marketplace as a true attestation of vetted high-quality solutions. 
  • We leveraged these cutting-edge Bexprt solutions to keep delivering rapid Proof-of-Concepts (PoCs) and rolling out ready-to-scale solutions in record time. 

Industry Focus 

Successfully diversified into multiple industries, including FSI, Automotive, Healthcare, Manufacturing, Telco, Retail, and Media, showcasing our adaptable and industry-relevant expertise. 

Our solution use-cases are now industry-focused aligning quickly to customer goals. 

Closing Thoughts

These achievements reflect not just our technical growth but also our deep collaboration with AWS, our customers, and the Bexprt team’s commitment to excellence. As we look to the future, our focus remains the same: to innovate, solve challenges, and deliver tangible value to our customers, in businesses across all industries.

Bexprt wins 2024 AWS Rising Star Consulting Partner of the Year for the Middle East & North Africa

Bexprt, multi-award winning, AWS Advanced Consulting Partner, today announced that it was named the winner of the 2024 AWS Rising Star Consulting Partner of the Year for the Middle East & North Africa, a regional AWS award recognizing partners that play a key role helping customers drive innovation and build solutions on AWS.

AWS Regional Partner Awards recognize AWS’s Top Partners of the Year and Rising Star Partners of the Year, whose business models have embraced specialization, innovation, and collaboration over the past year. AWS Partner Awards recognize partners whose business models continue to evolve and thrive on AWS as they work with customers. Winners were selected based on objective criteria with results audited by third-party analyst firm, Canalys.  

2024 has been a phenomenal year for Bexprt. Headquartered in the UK, with a regional office in Riyadh, the Bexprt team has achieved a considerable list of AWS and business accolades, including,

  • The King’s Award for Enterprise for International Trade, the UK’s most prestigious business award – Bexprt is the first company to receive this honour for Cloud Services, and the first for AI Services.

Lord Lieutenant presents Bexprt with the King’s Award for Enterprise

4th November 2024 ◦ Wokingham, The Royal County of Berkshire ◦ UK-based technology company Bexprt becomes the first Cloud & AI Services Company honoured with a King’s Award for Enterprise.

In a ceremony held in Wokingham’s Town Hall on the 4th November, His Majesty’s Representative, the Lord Lieutenant of the Royal County of Berkshire, Mr Andrew Try, presented the commemorative award and the Grant of Appointment to Bexprt’s CEO and Founder, Mohamed Hamdy, in front of the Mayor of Wokingham, Councillor Rob Comber, Local Councillors, business colleagues, friends, family and some of the Bexprt HQ team.

The King’s Awards for Enterprise are the most prestigious awards for UK businesses, recognising and celebrating business excellence across the UK. On the recommendation of the UK Prime Minister, and approved by His Majesty The King, they are awarded to businesses which have demonstrated outstanding success in their respective fields of innovation, international trade, sustainable development and promoting opportunity through social mobility.

During the presentation ceremony, addressing Mohamed, the Lord Lieutenant said,

“You are a credit to the country and the county of Berkshire and prove that innovation and particularly international trade are all things that, with focus and creativity Britain can be extremely successful at. You are a role model to others and on behalf of His Majesty I congratulate you on winning this award.”

“I am honoured to formally receive this most prestigious award on behalf of the Bexprt Team, in the presence of some of our key partners, business colleagues, friends, and family, whose support has been invaluable in reaching this milestone”, shared Mohamed Hamdy, Founder & CEO of Bexprt.

“We are the first Cloud & AI Services company to receive the King’s Award for Enterprise, an exciting achievement for our Winnersh Triangle headquartered business.”

The King’s Awards for Enterprise, previously known as The Queen’s Awards for Enterprise, were renamed last year to reflect His Majesty The King’s desire to continue the legacy of HM Queen Elizabeth II’s by recognising outstanding UK businesses. The Award programme, now in its 58th year, is the most prestigious business award in the country, with successful businesses able to use the esteemed King’s Awards Emblem for the next five years. This year, Bexprt is one of 252 organisations nationally to be recognised with a prestigious King’s Award for Enterprise, and specifically, receives The King’s Award for Enterprise for International Trade, for Outstanding Short Term Growth in Overseas Sales.
