Held on Thursday 10th October 2023, at the Hilton Hotel, Riyadh, the second edition of the Saudi Cloud Summit brought together CxOs and Senior Business Leaders from all sectors of the GCC, and enabled attendees to optimize their access to cloud & AI expertise, and experience, in Saudi.

• Bextract™ Enhanced Intelligent Document Processing: Bexprt CTO Mahmoud El Zayet announced new direct integration with Amazon Bedrock to support business workflows with AI agents, and gave a live demo of a real use case: Integration of Al-powered IDP solution with SAP ERP system to automate the processing of invoices, reducing manual effort and improving accuracy.
• Voice of the Customer: Mohammad Refaat, Director of Engineering at deep tech AI company Intelmatix, and Bexprt/AWS customer, joined Bexprt CMO Gwen Edwards, to explore how Intelmatix’s decision intelligence platform (EDIX) leverages AWS technologies, and the work delivered in partnership together.
• Keynote speech from Amr Almasri, AWS Country Manager for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Insights into AWS‘s contribution to the Kingdom’s technological progress, focusing on innovation, AI, and alignment with Saudi Vision 2030, and updates on future plans.
• The Future of AI in Cloud Computing ◦ Exec briefing on global AI trends and strategic insights, real-life use cases and practical uses of AI, from Founder & CEO Mo Hamdy from event organizer and co-host Bexprt.
• Orchestrating action with AI-driven integration & automation ◦ Ahmed Sadek, Boomi Lead Solution Engineer, explored the potential of AI orchestration and intelligent agents for practical AI use cases that allow you to innovate at the pace of change and still maintain control where needed. He delved into how to integrate diverse AI models and tools, optimize workflows and enhance decision-making, and shared practical applications, plus trends in AI orchestration and AI agents that turn your data into gold. Mahmoud El Zayet, Bexprt CTO, joined Ahmed on stage, for an update on the Boomi x Bexprt x AWS capabilities to make your data sparkle even more!
• Plus insights on Amazon Bedrock from Abdullah Alhoshan, AWS Senior Solutions Architect in Saudi Arabia, Digital Transformation from Hesham Galal, AWS Head of Solutions Architects for the Public Sector in Saudi Arabia, and Unlocking Business Value with Responsible gen AI from Axel Clauberg , Director, AWS Partner Solutions Architects for EMEA.
• In closing, Bexprt CEO Mo Hamdy shared expert insights on efficiently navigating the cloud to accelerate your cloud adoption & innovation, and unlocked exclusive commercial offers for attendees with relevant projects.
